Returning for another night of slumber party fun is Pug Rescue South Africa’s annual slumber party, except this time it includes camping!

Guests are invited to spend a whole twelve hours with rescued and honorary pugs. The registration includes a Pug Rescue Slumber Party t-shirt, dinner, a light breakfast and a goodie bag.

How the event works: Attendees of the event must complete a registration form, as well as pay the fee, before 10 October 2019. A form can be requested through email where friends and family donate funds to sponsor the event attendee’s night with the pugs. Hourly donations are also welcome. All under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited.

Hours spent at the sanctuary will count as community service hours. Camping guests are required to bring their own tents and sleeping equipment.

The event features two options to choose from in terms of accommodation.

Option 1: Individual accommodation; guests share a bedroom with the resident pugs.
Option 2: Camping; a group of friends or family camp out in their own tents with pugs guaranteed to gate crash.

Interesting Facts:

They also offer welfare assistance where and when needed to pugs and other dog breeds. Sponsored by Dogs Haven, Pug Rescue South Africa is also the home of Pickle the dwarf pug. Not only that, but they provide a sanctuary to pugs who do can’t find homes, including a retirement option for older pugs.
